Hi Guys and Gals,

Have been looking at ads for AT-6 'Texan' aircraft, (just out of curiousity), and have noticed a cockpit placard stating 'Spins Prohibited'.

As this aircraft is commonly referred to as 'The Pilotmaker', by several commentators, and it was used as an 'Operational Trainer', can anyone advise why no intentional spins?
I would have thought this to be a 'basic' manoeuvre in a military aircraft..?

Thanks in advance.:ok:

Thankyou Ivor.

Very interesting. Have not long returned from Wanaka NZ airshow where the AT-6 formation team put on a very nice display.

I guess they all checked out ok.

Cheers:ok:
