This is an unbelievably biased article agains general aviation, written on the homepage of Channel 10 television in San Diego.

Small planes pose a risk to commerical aircraft (http://www.10news.com/news/23325344/detail.html)

Typical anti-flying journalism :ugh:

Westy

P.S. the comments are mostly in support of GA....

Not only biased but also based on a false premise.

Like the Cessna that crashed into PSA Flight 182 ....
No, it didn't. The 727 descended into the C172.

The NTSB determined that the probable cause of the accident was the failure of the PSA crew to comply with a 'maintain visual separation' clearance, including failure to inform ATC when they no longer had the Cessna in sight.

According to numbers obtained by the I-Team, a commercial airline captain has to fly for at least 1,500 hours before they can get in the cockpit.

That must be a very draughty and precarious 1500 hours.
