Hi there,

I am after a Cessna 152 panel overlay, the beige coloured panels. And can only source American suppliers at the moment.

Are there any UK suppliers or second hand merchants that would be able source such a part like this without being stung by customs on importing.

Kind Regards,

Alex

Try Dennis Robinson Aircraft Spares, he deals only with Cessna parts, one of my main suppliers of spares and imports them. May have one in stock

Dennis Robinson, Keighley, West Yorkshire, BD21 - Contact Details | iWest Yorkshire (http://www.iwestyorkshire.co.uk/profile/13805/Keighley/Dennis-Robinson/)

One of those that are very good prices and hold a lot of parts are Stapleford flight centre

Stapleford Flight Centre - Servicing, Parts And Maintenance - Aircraft Parts And Servicing (http://www.flysfc.com/partsservicing.html)

CSE parts was taken over by Piper UK so try them

Piper-UK (http://www.piper-uk.co.uk/)

Also Multiflight

Official Cessna distributor and Cessna Customer Care Centre (http://www.multiflight.com/aircraft-parts/cessna.php)

failing that without paperwork try

Home (http://www.sky-craft.co.uk/)

Replacing this 'overlay' is not such an easy job. Take a look at how the switches are attached and the panel light dimmer for starters. The overlay purchased from non OEM USA company fitted okay, but roof , door and other panels were not very good.

Think he is talking about the instrument panel ones which are just the plastic headed nuts to ondo and slide off, most are cut for the curly lead and the only other problem is if someone has wired the low volts through it, bottom ones are a pain as said, but the wood effect ones are the best, they look the part.
