I have spoken to Benbecula and Stornoway ATC , and they are both very happy to provide ATC service, plus weather/notam information for aircraft coming to the Sollas Fly- IN. Stornoway has Avgas and Avtur. Benbecula has Avtur only (Loganair Fuels).

Please PM me or get in touch via the website's Contact Page.

You can also use the services of Scottish Information on 119.875 or 127.275 and I am sure we will update you on the weather etc!! Just dont forget the Highland Restricted area activity times should you route that way :cool:

Hi Chris
Many thanks for posting the pictures, hope you had a good trip back.
I will email the LAA Highland and Islands strut editor, he is looking for some info and pics. The beach was in excellent condition this year, smooth and dry, we had 13 aircraft in over the weekend, most over the Friday and Saturday, thanks to the ATC guys at Scottish, and Benbecula, for their services, and particularly for the cover during the over water sectors.

Regards

John
