Dear ATC colleagues, what's your impression on the recent events? All of us concerned had to handle the same situation, Polish ANSP reduced staffing for the closure period BELOW legally allowed minima, leaving only 2 ATCOs per unit per shift (for cost reduction sake, of course). What was your empolyer's approach? So properly organised as well?

I work at a mid-sized tower/app-unit. Usually we are 4 people running the show. During the ash-days (we were closed for approx 3 days) we still were... 4 people running the show. However our employer had a meeting with our union to do some preliminary "talk" concerning temporary lay-offs, but it all blew over pretty soon; or rather the winds changed ...

A busy few days for me.....every man and his dog were out flying VFR...good fun in a cracking few days of blue sky and sun.......ash what ash???????:cool::cool::cool::cool::cool::cool:
