I have just upgraded to a Mode S transponder and wondered where would be a good place (if anywhere) to sell my perfect condition Mode C transponder?
I looked on Ebay but there were no others (of any model) on there prompting me to think I was looking in the wrong place.
The LAA in house mag.

Have you got a link to the mag or an idea of what they're fetching?

Try US Ebay (http://motors.shop.ebay.com/Aviation-Parts-/26435/i.html?Part%2520Type=Avionics&Avionic%2520Part%2520Type=Transponders&_dmpt=Motors_Aviation_Parts_Gear&_fln=1&_pcats=26435%2C6028%2C6000&_ssov=1&_trksid=p4506.c0.m282) (not UK Ebay).
I sold an immaculate KT76C for about $1500, IIRC.

You'll see them on Ebay (UK) and AFORS etc, but the only aircraft that can fit them are permit types so the prices max out at anything between £150 to 250.
The US is the answer if it is a King or other reliable type (i.e. not Narco!).

You could just contact a parts supplier and offer it to them.
Try contacting steve at Jetstream Executive (http://www.jetstreamexec.co.uk/rotable.html)
