As I always like to know where my airline's little birds are at the moment, I'm trying to find out more about professional (i.e., gnd ops, flight following etc.) uses of virtual radar, like FlightTracker, RadarBox, SBS-2 etc.
Any experience? Pleeeeeeze?

I've found flight explorer a useful tool, but as you know there are other service providers out there.

Anyone having problems with the above web site ?

It caused my cpu to run at 100% and I had pop up warnings about my computer running the 'script' .

I've got the AirNav Radar box and it's excellent. The only downside of this product is the out of date info with flight routings and some registrations. I've not gone for the 3D option, can't see the point of it personally.

I was getting the same message and I'm using Firefox.

My guess would be that too many users were trying to get on the site and it suffered a slight meltdown.

Try Flight Sentry by SITA, it's a variation on Flight Explorer that gives ACARS position reports worldwide rather than just radar data that FE already uses in UK/US/Canada/Australia/New Zealand.
CDM (ground radar) is also gradually being rolled out across Europe, LHR has it.

chris-h. Not necessarily as there will still be no mandatory requirement to carry ADS-B so far as I know. Also, traffic outside CAS doesn't have to carry anything.
