Its about a mile NE of Malmesbury. Has anyone been? I've emailed and called the Estate office but had no answer? Anyone got a number, name or email address of someone I can speak to for PPR?

I have never landed there but have ridden past on a horse and, to be honest, I think the horse may be the better option.. It looks a bit up hill and down dale and I think a bit of prior knowledge would come in very handy. Have you thought of Oaksey Park? Its not that much further north .. or if you want to be really lazy and have acres of concrete there is Kemble.

Thanks, will give those numbers a go. Where were they from?

Yeah, have been to Kemble loads, got a mate who lives in Malmesbury, so might ask him if he could pop along to have a look to see what the lay of the land is, cheers.

Its very much a private strip, property of Lord Suffolk. No jollies.

Quite the contrary, spoke to him yesterday, very friendly chap. Landing fees £10 which goes to the local church, storage over night no problem, even has 100LL! Will be popping down in a couple of weeks or so.

Highly recommended. Both runways very smooth and a gorgeous setting. We also landed at Oaksey Park just up the road and its another 5 star grass strip.

There was a fly in earlier this yr (arranged by PeregrineH – who is a member on this site – which was a great success). I am sure he can give more details to those who might be interested in CP and potentially any plans for more of these events next yr. From my own experience, CP has been fantastic and incredibly hospitable

welcome to land as long as you leave a tenner for the church in the box on the side of the hangar!
