On applying for Cabin Crew position a mate was told by Go they would be basing 5 A/C @ Man. Any of you Go guys and girls know more?

I have no idea if it's true or not, and I don't work for Go, but I certainly hope that it is. Perhaps Go are looking to compete with Easy and Liverpool?

Antone have an idea when Go will need crews based at Manchester? It's about time Manchester had a low cost carrier...

I think it unlikely as the area is already served by easyJet, MAN is expensive and slow to operate out of and I have not heard a whisper about it inside the company. The great unserved expanse of Europe beckons and I would have thought MAD would have been a better bet than MAN.

But I know nothing.

surely next base should be NCL? no low cost competition around and excellent loads on newly started STN route? a better proposition that MAN surely???!!! :p

I hear the STN-NCL frequency is going up to 3 a day from 21/12.

Any one know who does the maintenance on GO?
There are several hundred engineers at man looking for work at the moment so this would be very good news.
