This is a very interesting report in terms of cockpit behaviour, cabin managment and organisational factors.

hmmm.... I dont know what I found more disturbing, the photo of the corrosion in the wing or the expectation from Operations for the crew to fly the next day. I heard that one of the CC involved quit shortly after this.

Yeah!

Two years ago I was in a maintenance hangar and there they were about to maintain a hm...? It was a ca. 40 years old naval recon aircraft. As they took away the inner coverage / side panels, the found many kg of aluminium chips. Fatigue of material ....
