15:15hrs approx: to the controller in question who instructed the USAF Hercules to "Give way to the Cessna (152) crossing the taxiway", a big "Thank you" you made my day. :D :D :D
If anyone from Prestwick sees this please would they point it out to the person concerned.

OK, I'll bite - thank you !! :) - but shouldn't you have done it before his TCAS went off ? ;)

@fisbangwallop
"if he had'nt been told to give way" - as if that would happen at PK !! :=
"Being a USAF Herc" - remember, they know where you work -if you see a Hummer with blacked out windows outside Atlantic House, suggest a quick 180 would be in order ;)

I once told a Britannia 737 to give way to a midget submarine (it was just being towed clear of the C5 carrying it)....nobody thanked me.

@loki
They did Chuckles, but you just didn't hear them over the noise of the tv :ok:

[& that's another tumbleweed story ;) ]

All right, all right! I give in. To anyone who feels badly done to because nobody has ever thanked them "Thank you very much". OK? Feel better now? Good.
Eric, as someone who is normally sensible, please would you thank the person concerned for me? Thank you. :\

@ DX
There you go - that's how ATC works - we wear you down till you give in :ugh: - didn't 10W explain that ? ;)
I shall pass on your thanks - he was actually my relief that day - I didn't realise till 30 secs later but I went out the gate as you came in :ok:
As for "Eric, as someone who is normally sensible" - how very dare you !! That's my reputation as dodgy old git ruined :}

DX - neither of the words 'sensible' or 'normal' could be applied to the ETC of my acquaintance.
There can't be two of 'em , can there???

Cleo, it was a bit of poetic licence. I need to be polite and keep on their right side as I may need their services again sometime in the future. Especially if I succeed in kidnapping a certain C152 :E
Eric, would you like me to change that to the more accurate "Rarely sensible"? You did well to escape when you did - I was originally supposed to have been flying in the morning. ;)
