Any ideas whose register is VQ-B.. ? Must be quite new I've searched the net without success.

Here (http://www.pilotfriend.com/aircraft%20performance/reg.htm), it says that VQ is for Turks & Caicos

Sorry, disregard previous post... Now I see that you specified VQ-B; Turks and Caicos is VQ-T...

No, It says "VQ-T" is Turks and Caicos.

Due to a high import tax in Russia, many of the Russian Airlines are registering their newly aquired Western built aircraft in Bermuda & due to this, they've run out of reg's in the VP-B sequence.

You would have thought that the Russians would have noticed that the high import tax was not stopping Russian airlines ordering Western built aircraft rather than Tupolev & Ilyushin (locally built aircraft) so they'd lower the tax so that all aircraft were placed on the Russian register & therefore, they'd get more money anyhow.

A lot of Russian biz operators tend to operate aircraft registered in Austria, Aruba, the UK & the Isle of Man
