Hi all,

I am flying for a JAR-OPS 1 operator on a JAA CPL license. I'm rated on the 737 and on the 27th of October I will not have made my 3 take offs and landings within the last 90 days.

As far as I can see I can still continue to operate as a co-pilot as long as I am not PF according to annex 6. Is that correct? Or do I have to go back in the sim even just to act as PM? If yes where do I find that information?

Annex 6 quote:

9.4.1 Recent experience — pilot-in-command
and co-pilot
9.4.1.1 An operator shall not assign a pilot-in-command
or a co-pilot to operate at the flight controls of a type or variant
of a type of aeroplane during take-off and landing unless
that pilot has operated the flight controls during at least three
take-offs and landings within the preceding 90 days on the
same type of aeroplane or in a flight simulator approved for
the purpose.

Hope you can answer my question :ok:

I guess, if you are a JAR-OPS (or EU-OPS) operator you have to follow what's in there - meaning 3 T/O and Ldgs. within 90 days for both PF and PNF.

You need to check your operations manual. Some companies have dispensations. For example it may be that commanders need three landings in 90 days and co-pilots only one. Also an extension to 120 days might be allowed with two line sectors under supervision. You have to check what it says for your company.
