Yesterday around 1920 UTC we were cruising in Croatian Airspace heading northwest.
Suddenly we noticed a strange light in front of us! I would say 1/10 of the sky was illuminated by this light! It was a huge light circle with a bright spot in the middle!
From our position it was moving from West to East and dissapeard after 5 minutes!
A lot of talking was going on, on all frequencies but nobody had an explanation for this event!

Someone here, who noticed this as well and could tell me what that was?

We saw them over Croatia in the Northern sky. Very impressive!

Had a search on the internet and found out the lights last night were caused by a rocket launching a satellite into space and then the booster rocket dumping excess propellant to cause the halo.
