Dear All,
Quick question if I may. Trying to find the CAA requirement for the carriage of 1st Aid Kits on small aircraft. We will be carrying 1 or 2 pax for journeys of approx 4hrs. I know that a fire extinguisher is mandatory but can anyone tell me what the requirements are for 1st Aid kits.

EU OPS 1.1745 defines requirement for number of first aid kits, which is one kit if between 0 and 99 passenger seats installed.
The definition of minimum required first aid kit contents is less easy to find as this is still covered under JAA documentation:
JAA TGL No. 44/AMC JAR-OPS 1.745: First Aids Kits
The following should be included in the First-Aid Kits:
Bandages (unspecified)
Burns dressings (unspecified)
Wound dressings, large and small
Adhesive tape, safety pins and scissors
Small adhesive dressings
Antiseptic wound cleaner
Adhesive wound closures
Adhesive tape
Disposable resuscitation aid
Simple analgesic e.g. paracetamol
Antiemetic e.g. cinnarizine
Nasal decongestant
First-Aid handbook
Gastrointestinal antacid (for aeroplanes with more than 9 passenger seats installed)
Anti-diarrhoeal medication e.g. Loperamide (for aeroplanes with more than 9
passenger seats installed)
Ground/Air visual signal code for use by survivors.
Disposable gloves
A list of contents in at least 2 languages (English and one other). This should
include information on the effects and side effects of drugs carried.
NOTE: An eye irrigator whilst not required to be carried in the first-aid kit should, where possible, be available for use on the ground.
