As long as you don't want to spend a penny while you are there! Apparently, as a result of the introduction of the Euro, Tony Blair has quietly enacted an Instrument of Parliament that forbids you using the phrase 'Spending a penny' (Punishable by a either a £20,000 fine or five years in prison) now one has to say ' I am just going to Euronate!' :) :)

As it's been such a good week let's pop some Bolli, darling.
Anyone driving along the A40 past Witney of late may have noticed a new sign affixed to the back wall of the Fabulous Bakin' Boys factory (bakers of muffins and flapjacks). It carries a small photograph of Fanny Craddock (famous TV cook of yesteryear) and in huge letters says:
"Our muffins are moist and sticky like Fanny's"
