One of my work friends just brought in the latest BEST magazine. Check out Bendict on page 29 - get's my vote. Not an up hill gardner, just sympathetic to him since he will no doubt get much stick! Do we have fighter pilots at Marham?!!!

Well my friends. BEST magazine is a ladies mag (Not porn!) - my work mate being a lady. Benedict is apparently a Flt Lt entering in to a cheesy pose for the 2002 calendar competition. Sqn badge and all!!! Check it out and you can even phone in for Benedict the Fighter Pilot, from Marham?

If you get to view the wonderful pose with the suggestively unzipped flying suit and the medallion man chest, you'd realise that no one would want to draw attention to themselves in this cheesio comp.

Well , Ben , nice photo. I do hope that in the near future it is not used to identify you as fast jet pilot on the famous tornado sqn . Bats and twats ive heard them called ... need i say more . Id be having a serious chat with my misses if she'd done that to me !!! If you did it to yourself , then your ego's so big you should be on Harriers :rolleyes:

Great to see that some one else has seen this boner. I have managed to get the mug shot & cheesey pose scanned but how do I get the glorious evidence on the web and a URL link on this site? Just love the way he has pulled the zip of his grow bag down to reveal his chest - NOT!!! Divorce looks likely Benedict. Lucky guess PCD.

Ben the Boner can't be a Fighter mate. No Fighter mate would ever be found posing for some cheesey snapshot....but then again!
I once saw a photo set of an F3, its Nav (in flying kit with polo stick) and a polo pony??? Thankfully his growbag was done up.

Posing fighter jocks and talk of the wild cat Sqn at the South East Anglian airfield now in the hands of brown jobs in the 'Has Saluting had its Day' thread, reminds me of the unmarried CO from just before we gave it away who flew from said unit in the 70s as a Flt Lt. He found a cheesy B&W photo of self with bone dome hugged against ribs under crooked arm, wearing mandatory grow bag and leaning against his valiant steed. Said photo was made into sufficient numbers of Valentine's Day cards by reprographics and sent to EVERY single WRAF airwoman and officer on the stn. Aaaaah, thems were the days! :D

Just to close the loop on your thread, it was announced in the local rag that "Ben" was voted into the Top 12 and will therefore appear in the 2002 Hunky Husbands calendar !!!!!!!!!!
