Hi, I am looking at possible alternatives to Tunis International Airport for the first landing after Europe.
Does anyone advise an alternative for light aircraft?

I would guess that any of the Tunisian international airports would be fine. I used Tunis to enter the country and Monastir to leave earlier this year.
The main challenge is going to be finding avgas, unless of course you have something with a diesel/Jet A1 engine. I can't begin to imagine trying to get through security with cans full of mogas.

Went to Monastir about 3 years ago and it had Avgas from a pump.

According to that its still available, but probably sensible to check.
Airport was a lot quieter and easier than Tunis - no handling was needed.
