Another word of advice - I'd refrain from calling people "peasants" or similar insults when coming on a BBS like this looking for advice.

Nigel - I appreciate that you have a genuine query, and me and many other people who look on this bulletin board can give you the answers that you want, but, you must read the instructions! When you first log on you are given the option to select a large number of boards on at least two of which your question will be politely and comprehensively answered. On this one there is a heading that positively prohibits a thread such as this for good reasons. Shortly, I have no doubt, our Chief Pilot or one of his colleagues will lock this thread and move it to where it belongs!

I see that you persist in being gratuitously rude here, despite the fact that nobody has been rude to you.

If this is your attitude in life, particularly when needing assistance and having failed to read the instructions so prominently displayed, I suspect your career as a "professional" pilot will be short and glorious...

I think Nigel may have got the drift by now. We all make mistakes.

IMHO, time to close this Thread and cool off! :)

hug monster are you bored this afternoon

i was only asking a question which p,pilcher has answered politely for me unlike your goodself.

i thought this was supposed to be a freindly helpful website.if you spent more time helping people and less time being arrogant other people would benefit.

once again thanks to p.pilcher and lets move on

Very well, I shall provide an answer to your question.

Given your apparent inability to read instructions, and your willingness to be rude to people at the drop of a hat, your aggressive instincts, your lack of grammar and punctuation, thereby indicating a lack of attention to detail, and also given the current situation in the aviation industry, I think your chances of finding a job are rather on the slim side.

As for helping you, I think that pointing out that people are much more prepared to be helpful if you refrain from being gratuitously rude to them is in itself very helpful.

I can't believe such a simple question, no matter how it is written could generate so many stupid and unprofessional responses!!!!

Since when has Web "Etiquette become such an issue here.....I don't see the moderators taking people to task over this pathetic matter......get a life for Christ Sake's.

Please close this thread "ASAP"....oops sorry, for I wasn't shouting!!!!

Maybe there should be a forum for "Charisma Bypasses"

NigelPPL.....I am sure you will get all the answers you want from the questions & wannabees forums. However, please be mindful that it's trying times right now!

Good luck

I'm closing this thread primarily because it is in the wrong forum. Normally I would simply move this thread to the Wannabes section. However, that's a bad idea in this case, due to all the "baggage" that has been generated on this thread.

If you are making a genuine post, please open up a new thread on this subject in the Wannabes forum. When you do so, please abide by at least some basic posting considerations, and I am sure that you will get the responses that you desire.

If your original post was a wind-up, please find another way to amuse yourself, or at least make your posts in Jet Blast <img src="cool.gif" border="0">

Edited -- see, even administrators have to proofread every now and then :)
