Hello,

Does anybody have a handy list with Aircraft Type Designators?
I googled the internet already, but just found very uncomfortable ones.
If you have a link I would be happy with that, If you have a list it would be even better if you could PM me for my email.

Thanks in advance :ok:

The ICAO website has a good search function. Go to Doc8643 - ICAO Aircraft Type Designators (http://www.icao.int/anb/ais/8643/index.cfm)

Post #3 in the Sticky "Useful websites and document references" gives a link airlinecodes.co.uk which contains the information that you are looking for (along with many other sites)

Or you can go to Doc8643 - ICAO Aircraft Type Designators (http://www.icao.int/anb/ais/8643/index.cfm) and search - wide searches are supported.

Can't get the doc/paper links in the page menu to work in Firefox, Chrome or IE, though ... and searching "Airbus" gives a completely different set of codes to the example given by Capetonian - but this is ICAO, after all, so don't expect miracles.

boeing can be a bit messy, eg: the 737

732=737-200
733=737-300
73Y=737-300F
734=737-400
735=737-500
736=737-600
but.....
73G=737-700 (without winglets) / obviously 737 was a bit ambiguous
73W=737-700 (With winglets)
738=737-800 (without winglets)
73H=737-800 (with winglets)
have not seen the 900 codes yet.

Hi

And thanks for the feedback.
I was looking for something like the link Sepp offered me. I found that one already but I am looking for the same thing in an Excel format or something like that.

I would need the ICAO designators.

Cheers

How about this?

ICAO Aircraft Codes - flugzeuginfo.net (http://www.flugzeuginfo.net/table_accodes_en.php)

You can copy and paste the table into word or xl :)
