Oxy mask reset to re-activate boom mic - Airbus.

Hi All,
Our training department has stated that it is no longer a requirement to close the Oxy mask door and press the reset button to re-activate the boom mic after removing the mask on the A330/340. This doesn't seem right to me as I have not seen a TR to this effect.
Can anyone shed some light on the subject for me?

I too am in DXB, and have not heard this. Why don't you email the Fleet Tech Pilot for clarification.

I believe if you don't press the reset button the oxy will keep flowing too. Never heard of what you're saying.
