How much notice do you get telling you where you being posted after the college?! Is it a case of finish the course then they tell you or do they give you an idea before you finished?!?

Usually they tell you after getting the final results.

My course got the postings the day AFTER we finished.
Had to go in on a day off to find out where we were going to relocate the following week !

You may well hear rumours of where the possible postings might be while you are going through the college, but don't believe anything until you have passed the course and have a posting letter in your hand!!

My course got the postings the day after finishing the course (although most get them on the day). We then had one week (yes, a whole 7 days!) to relocate and be ready to start; some people literally the other end of the country. Not exactly ideal!

I believe the standard is 2 weeks between posting and starting, certainly every other course I know of got that much, perhaps we were particularly shafted ;)
