Do Eurocontrol controllers pay their taxes to the Netherlands, home country or motherland?

None of the above. Taxes are paid, same as EU emloyees, back to the organisation. Only after retirement do you pay taxes in the country of residence

Okay, thank you for that clarification! I'm very interested in working for Eurocontrol and I would like to know a bit more before applying: How high are taxes when you pay back to the organisation, how are they consisted and how expensive place is Maastricht? Is there a huge difference between living in the Netherlands, Belgium or Germany?

Ops Staff fall in the O grade here (http://www.eurocontrol.int/corporate/public/standard_page/careers_offer_salary.html)

Most people tend to settle wherever they are most comfortable with the language, schools etc.. Discussed often in the other Eurocontrol threads.
