Sounds like the same thing.

The requirement is for the VHF NAV receiver to have sufficient immunity to high power FM radio broadcasts in the frequency band just below.

Try having a look at the following links:

EUROCONTROL - ILS/VOR FM Immunity (http://www.eurocontrol.int/mil/public/standard_page/fmimmunity.html)
EUROCONTROL - Military Requirements (http://www.eurocontrol.int/airspace/public/standard_page/165_General.html)

They don't say too much apart from direct you to ICAO Annex 10 and some TGL's

thanks every one for his reply ,, well the point which lead me to confusion is what`s written in this site
Luftfartstilsynet - AIC I (http://www.luftfartstilsynet.no/regelverk/aic/i/article1217.ece)
other than that i belive it`s only VOR/ILS FM Immunity and nothing about vhf communacition.

In Europe, FM immunity is applicable also to VHF communications.

EU-OPS 1.865(f): "An operator shall ensure that VHF communication equipment, ILS Localiser and VOR receivers installed on aeroplanes to be operated in IFR are of a type that has been approved as complying with the FM immunity performance standards."

And for further info refer to former JAA ACJ OPS 1.865(e):

"FM Immunity Equipment Standards
See JAR-OPS 1.865(e)
1 FM immunity performance Standards for ILS Localiser, VOR receivers and VHF communication receivers have been incorporated in ICAO Annex 10, Volume I - Radio Navigation Aids Fifth Edition dated July 1996, Chapter 3, Paragraphs 3.1.4, 3.3.8 and Volume III, Part II - Voice Communications Systems, Paragraph 2.3.3.
2 Acceptable equipment standards, consistent with ICAO Annex 10, are contained in EUROCAE Minimum Operational Performance Specifications, documents ED-22B for VOR receivers, ED-23B for VHF communication receivers and ED-46B for LOC receivers and the corresponding RTCA documents DO-186, DO-195 and DO-196."

G'Day from Downunder! It won't surprise many of you to learn that we do things somewhat later than the rest of the world in Oz. I'm looking for some data on instances where a lack of ILS/VOR FM immunity in an aircraft has either been a factor in an incident or has resulted in that a/c not being cleared into any airspace, European or otherwise. If anyone has any references or links to such instances I'd be very grateful. As we say in Australia - TA! (thanks)
