Can you help organise tower/area control?

Hi Guys,

Have stage 3 at the end of July and I'd really like the oppotunity to see a busy tower and Swanwick. Can anyone on here help me with arranging control visits?

Also does anyone know the name of the ATC book that is often available from local libraries- just can't seem to track it down.

The book most NATS applicants read is Graham Duke's Air Traffic Control. On the 9th edition at the moment, but 10th edition coming out very soon.

Have you contacted NATS HR about visits - usually they can put you in touch with a contact at your preferred aerodrome and Swanwick.

Or alternatively look on the AIS website, in the aerodrome section you will be able to lookup all the relevant phone numbers.
