Recently, our A343's have been updated with the V bar Tail Strike Pitch limit indicator on the PFD à la A340-500/600. There is a small explanation in FCOM 1.31.40, however nothing about the Audio "Pitch" callout which seems to come before reaching the limit on landing.

Does anybody have some more info on when the audio Pitch is triggered? Is it based on X-degrees before the limit or based on attitude and stick input...,
Nobody seems to know.

Thanks for the feedback:ok:

All I could find with a quick googe - for 300 VoL 3 chapt3 sect 22

"PITCH, PITCH" auto-callout is provided.
The PNF should monitor the attitude, and call out :
"PITCH PITCH", if the pitch angle reaches 7.5 degrees.
"BANK BANK", if the bank angle reaches 7 degrees.

Thanks Groundfloor for your response.
Eventhough, I agree on the PNF 7.5 Pitch call I do have a feeling that the Auto Pitch call is not triggered at the same value.

Does anybody know? Can't even test it in the sim, since it is not equipped with the auto call.

Thanks
