hi there,
I've got the information that traffic filed on PAPAR SID in Dubai gets sometimes (or always?) rerouted on DARAX SID. Is this correct? Why? Is there any publication on that?

Always Darax, Papar route has been closed for a long time now I believe for political reasons.(Iran)

Since JAN 2007 the PAPAR Sid has not been used, due to political reasons.
However although traffic are now filing via DARAX, once traffic enters the Iranian Airspace, some traffic are given a 'Short Cut', BY Iranian ATC!

Yes they do - but no FPL via PAPAR will be accepted anymore.

Yes, they are still published on charts;
Jeppessen 10-3B latest issued on 27 MAR 09
