Has anybody sighted CWS? I'm told she flew out of Jt Eastbound on Monday.
Sounds like the East might be hearing those big round engines.
Yep! heard the OL Girl going into Port Augusta South Australia at 1700 hrs local time.
Gday 60's,
Sad to see her go, but at least she is flying.

How come she left Jandakot? Is she coming back to Sydney with Dave and Bill? Would be good to see her back in Sydney. I should pop down and have a chat with the guys.

Is it my imagination or is the DC-3 population increasing at Essendon, just sems to be an extra airframe or two on the tarmac?

In the week before she left JT I wandered over for a look at the ole girl and was surprised to see she had been prevented from moving with a cage chained around the tail and a notice advising people not to move her. There was a contact number which I think was - and I stand to be corrected here - the JT Airport.
Also, the props: are they Needle Blade or Paddle Blades? I thought they might be Paddle Blades (ie for high level ops). I've never seen Paddle Blades (rare in Australia) and since I don't have anything to compare them with it's hard to tell.
Cheers!

As far as I know they're all paddles. I've not seen any needles.
