RT Phraseology??

I hope this isn't a stupid question :

I keep hearing the response "Charlie Charlie" from other commercial traffic. Been trying to ask everyone I know what this means ??

Any response to this rather trivial question would be greatly received.

It's "old speak" for "that is correct" or "confirmed".

The original use would have been on HF comms, where readability is not always what it might be ...
