The Australian Gliding Team is currently running a fundraising raffle to send the selected team of 2 pilots to the pre-World Championships in Slovakia in August. Top prize is an hour in the Brisbane Alteon A320 simulator, fully professionally instructed, and second prize is an equivalent session in the Boeing 737 sim. Each winner can take 2 companions.
There are also runner-up prizes of Trial Instructional Flights in a glider, aerotowed to 2000 or 3000 ft.
This is a very small raffle and is not-for-profit - only a maximum of 1000 tickets will be sold, so chances of a prize are pretty good. Plus you'll be supporting a great cause - apart from this raffle, competitors have to stump up the entire cost of the trip themselves.
Tickets are $10 each, and the raffle closes THIS WEEKEND 16/5/09! So if you want tickets reserved, email [email protected] and I'll reserve them for you. Payment can be made by paypal to the above email address or by bank deposit - email for details. Good luck and thanks for your support!
