Chaps, indulge me. On the A320:

Does the speedbrake lever pop out on touchdown when armed, as a Boeing lever does or do you have to look at the ECAM to confirm extension?

Can you hear the famous 'woof woof' PTU from the flightdeck?

Can you hear the 'hammer clank' of manual brake application from the flightdeck?

How audible is the click of each throttle detent when going through the various gates from idle when standing them up?

Can you select autobrake max in the air or is that setting only for RTO?

a. No, it does not move. It is an electrical switch like most things on the 'bus

d. It can be selected but is not part of standard operating procedures to do so

By 'click' of the throttle detents I presume you mean the physical noise made by the thrust lever movement, in which case I'd say not very loud (especially on takeoff when going to CLB detent - the engine growl is very loud and drowns most sounds)
