The new procedures for climb clearances start in 2 days (ie not climbing above SID restrictions unless told that they have been deleted)

I know the merits of this change has already been discussed.

I work for a large, UK, low cost airline which operates hundreds of flights into the UK each day. We have had no communication, training, notice to crew etc regarding this important change. I only found out from pprune and then looked at the FODCOM. I suspect many of our crew know nothing about it.

I hope that controllers are aware of the lack of awareness of this change among flight crew.

I have been on leave for a few days, but the last info I had was that the procedure has been withdrawn, the link refers...

And there will be plenty of crew who think it's all change but didn't ask the question like FatFlyer.....
