Anyone know what happened to this cherokee? G-AYMK was owned by a long established flying group at Newcastle, SOLD early 2008 it was ferried to Blackpool in March of that year with NO C of A. According to the register it has been temporarily withdrawn from use? I'm just interested to know the story, what has happened to this fantastic machine?

Blimey, you make that sound like a crime. Never heard of a permit to ferry?

Currently work in progress in the hands of its new(ish) private owner. (not me, a friend)
I belive it will be complete and flying later in the year!
Any reason?

Having flown the aircraft for more than fourteen years I was simply curious to know what had happened, was concerned that the old girl had been broken up for spares.

I still have a set of keys, both door and an original Bendix key. Happy to forward them if required?

I'd also be interested to hear what sort of work has been done, should you care to share this info please feel free to send me a message.

Thanks!
