Hey!,

I am sure this has been covered I had a look and could not find anything though but please, do feel free to yell at me if I am just going blind :)

So I am doing a uni course which at the end of the first year... I will have my PPL however I am thinking that I would also like to Microlight using Flexwing but maybe Fixed (not decided :8) Would the PPL count for anything (IE would I have to do less hours before I could get the NPPL) or would I have to do the full min number of hours?

Hope some one can help!

Thanks In Advance!

Tom

If you hold a UK/JAR-FCL PPL(A) with SEP Class Rating, to exercise Microlight aeroplane privileges you merely need to complete differences training and do not need a NPPL. Contact a Microlight club to establish what your 'differences training' would consist of.

However, hours flown on Microlights will not count towards the hours needed for revalidating your SEP Class Rating.

See LASORS F6.1 and NPPL (http://www.nppl.uk.com)
