yep.. 13 years, a day I will never forget, nor the lessons we should all have learned from it.

IT was 18 years ago, in Iraq, that I watched his aircraft blowing up ahead of us. A terrible tradgedy that his life was snuffed out so soon afterwards, especially after all that he and Bob and their families went through.
RIP Budgie boy

A long time ago and passed so quickly. We went through IOT and flying training together and that seems like yesterday. RIP Budgie

Served twice with him, watched it happen :-( ... RIP
It was a happy day when we heard via the first guys that were released that Budgie and Bob had survived the explosion.

Was that Bob A.
If so there is a long story to tell and also give him my best regards as we were at Boscombe together - him Tors, me Jags.
