Hi Fellows!

I heard of the Dresden plant of Airbus would start the first conversion of an A320/321 into full freighter airplane. Anybody can tell me anything else? Rumours LH is interested. Is it true?????

Regards!

Google tells me this: (http://www.eads.com/1024/en/investor/News_and_Events/news_ir/2007/2007/20070822_eads_efw_maks_freighters.html) (Google is quite a useful tool, you should bookmark it!)

So it is true, Airbus plans to convert pax A320 to freighters.

However, LH has not had any kind of narrow-body freighter since they got rid of two 737-200F a decade ago, so I think it's unlikely they are the driving force, except maybe they plan to convert their A320s and sell them at a higher price...

thanks. I read that a long time ago but still no changes I think. Thanks anyway.:ok:

I didn't know about 737's of LH...Probably your right about planning to sell them at higher prices but nobody starts conversions like that without possible customers. As I said is a radiocanteen rumour and who knows if is true or not.

LH had a bunch of 737-300QC, not sure if they have all left, saw a LH 733 the other day in FRA.
