Hi all,
I have just passed PPL here in UK and my company is considering to relocate me to Zurich.
So here I am asking for any information about GA in Switzerland (mainly in Zurich area) and about buying share in aeroplane over there.
Any info will be much appreciated!
Thanks F

I can't give you any detail but Switzerland has a very well organised GA scene.

I have been to Wangen-Lachen (LSPV) which is near Zurich. Grenchen is another GA place, very busy.

Switzerland does however suffer from a great deal of bad weather, and together with the obvious terrain, pilots there need to be pretty smart.

This (http://www.nelly.ch/)site has a lot of resources.

If you re going to fly in Switzerland make sure you get the only one-day-per-year aerodrome in your logbook!

It s a frozen lake, i believe near neufchatel, which opens once a year for one day. You need to first fly to an airfield nearby, get a briefing and then on to the lake.

Never been there but seen an article in a French mag with pics, looks brilliant!
