Hi, I have already posted this in the Downunder section but had no luck. Can anyone link me to some information on AUSEP, there seems to be nothing on the net.

I am wondering what the requirements are for it, whether its still even used now that RNP is about, and whether having RNP certification allows you to fly AUSEP?

Cheers

Hey Mate,

Couple of links below may have some of the info that you are after.

http://www.casa.gov.au/rules/1998casr/172/172mfull.pdf

http://www.casa.gov.au/rules/changes/2008/MOS172.pdf

CASA web site search (http://agencysearch.australia.gov.au/search/search.cgi?query=AUSEP&collection=agencies&form=simple&profile=casa&Search=Search)

Project AS 08/19 - Subpart 91U - Navigation Authorisations for Australian Operators - Post Implementation Review and Update (http://www.casa.gov.au/newrules/parts/091U/AS0819.asp)

Most of the info talks about AUSEP being reserved for future operation etc. It seems there is a problem as ICAO has got rid of the applicability for AUSEP but Australia still has it in the AIP etc.
