Can anyone tell me what the little +'s mean that are on the different parts of the instrument panel? Seems to be one on most of the different pieces of the instrument panel.

Behind the cross (+) is the approximate position of the electrical contact that provides lighting power to drive the panel lightplate.
If one particular lightplate isn't working generally start troubleshooting with a little 'massage' of this cross (+) to ensure a good contact.

Am an examiner, and would not ask that kind of question
- only "Where was the last rivet installed?" ( Ans: In the last hole )
