Margaret Dove (nee Chadwick)

Margaret Dove died peacefully on November 30th, 2008. Beloved mother of Richard and Delphine, sister of Rosemary and grandmother of five. She was born on February 9th, 1923, to Roy Chadwick, Chief Designer of AVRO, and his wife Mary. She married John Dove in 1944 and was his devoted wife for 53 years. She was the Honorary President of the Lincolnshire Lancaster Association, the Nanton Lancaster Society, Alberta, Canada, and the Lancaster Support Club of Canadian Warplane Heritage. A funeral service will be held at St. Matthew’s Church, North Quay, Douglas, Isle of Man on Friday, December 5th at 12 noon. Flowers may be sent care of E. What a great lady she was...sadly missed.
