Hi,

please excuse me if I post this in the wrong forum. I have a question relating to flight plan routing and the accepted format for the route itself.

What is the correct syntax for a route involving lat/lon coordinates (for example when crossing the Atlantic)? Would I require DCT (direct) between each coordinate, or is a simple string of coordinates between the entry/exit waypoints (for example when flying a NAT) enough?

Thanks in advance for any assistance... :)

...by DCT, if the flight to the next point will be outside a designated route, unless both points are defined by geographical coordinates. So if you have a string of L/L insert:

DCT 12S123E 13S123E 14S123E DCT
