Hi all
Does anyone out there have Chipmunk WZ869, in there log book, as either a Pilot, Student or ATC Cadet on air expirience? We are restoring her to static display and would like to put together her history. Also, any information relating to the accident that put her wheel firmly and permanantly on the ground!
Many thanks in asvance.

22.8. 1956, 20 MU Ashton Down.
15.5.1957, 5 MU RAF Kemble
7.10.1957. RAF Dishforth Stn Flight.
15.12.1957, 27 MU RAF Shawbury.
3.5.1960, RAF Flying College, Cranwell.

WZ884 was the last RAF 'batch' Chipmunk delivered October 1953. There were a few later serials, odds-and-ends.
