Hi,

know somebody where I can charter a single-engine-plane (like C172, PA28, DA40, A210, or similar) in Abu Dhabi and Dubai?

I´m Austrian and holder of an Hungarian ICAO-PPL-A.

Many thanks and best regards

Renting an aircraft is difficult, you need to complete a validation - air law exam + 10hrs dual and a check ride. its also expensive. Thats if they answer there phones etc.

Try fujairah aviation collage, you can also try al jazirah they have microlights.

Have a look in the middle east board, this topic has been discussed before.

One of the Clubs down there advertises that flying light aircraft is a lot cooler in the height of summer than being on the ground owing to the lapse rate.

2c per 1000 feet was it? So that'll make it around 40c at 2000 feet on a good day?
