I would be very grateful to the GR-4 pilot that ''borrowed'' my desert boots if he was to return them. He was based with the TACP on BATUS and I was running the O.O.S. TACP. I lent them to you because your boots were shagged .I need them back as I deploy to the hot sandy rockie place soon. Sorry to use these means but ive had no joy on the phone. Kind regards

I have a couple of old, well used Brit and Yank desert boots in my attic if you get desperate; I have no use for them anymore.

Of course you could always pop down clothing stores and get some more.............:ugh:

If only stuff was available from stores ....... where is your old pair to exchange ......

Could always buy some from Silvermans I suppose.

Ok they were an expensive pair of LOWA low cut boots. They were my lucky boots as well. Never mind eh,you try to do the decent thing and leand out your kit to someone in need .....blah blah blah.

Don't judge a man until you've walked a mile in his boots. And then ...

He's a mile a way and you've got his boots.

I thank you.

If pilots were trustworthy stackers wouldn't need so many signatures for their kit.
Of course sometimes the safest bet is not to give them anything. ;o)

Rule 1, never lend kit to a man who lives in a different block.
Rule 2, wrt to rule 1..... Never trust a grobag wearing biological interface.
Rule 3, Ask a rock ape if he has some spare kit for sale.

Speak nicely to the Squippers. Theyre bound to have some hidden away somewhere [or know a man who has]:):)

Ah now you know why they are called 13 "The Thieving Bastards" Sqn.

Goes back to when they flew Lysanders or something..

As PICKS135 says, go and see the Gut squippas, and don't be such a plonker next time :E You could always borrow 'the saviour of Army Avns' boots' (if you can find him...):ok:

Helpful Stacker, are you at Odious

Not anymore.

I handed back my issued kit (and a few extra bits) last year and headed for pastures new.
