just got Nokia N95 8G and want to know if there is some software for symbian fopr pilots availible and there is possibility to senf ICAO flightplan online (for free) ? ;)

If you can get the AFPEX java terminal to run on some device, then you could use that. That is free.

You can run homebriefing.com (a straight website) on many more portable devices, but HB is not free - it costs the exorbitant amount of Euro 4 per flight plan which makes is too expensive for 99% of UK GA pilots :)

It was Euro 37 per year.

You were allowed unlimited usage.

Later they went to unlimited usage if either end of the flight is in Austria or Switzerland (HB is a service run by Vienna ATC) and for others there was an annual limit of 10 flight plans.

It's an excellent service.

I believe I have done some flightplan for free, but maybe it was't...

Olivia in France is free but good only for flights with one end in France. I think Netherlands and Germany have similar website facilities, with similar restrictions.

Not everything is free, and some things are extremely good value for money.

Most of the time, you get what you pay for.
