Hello,
If you 're flying at, say 1.3 Vstall, flaps 20°, and deploy the flaps further for landing, say 40°, do you normally try to maintain speed or immediatelly reduce speed maintaining the same V/Vstall?

I'm not sure i completely understand the question, but if flaps are operating normally (i.e. not alternate flap deployment) then wait till the flaps are seen to be travelling before reducing speed. If using alternate flap system then wait until flabs have fully travelled before reducing speed.

I'd wait until you have the new configuration set and then reduce speed. What type are we talking and what situation (commercial flying, bush flying, training)?

I think MSFS training. It appears to be from a book!
