Saw this and thought it may be of interest,I have signed the e-petition as it rang true for me at my airstrip !

Will.

Please, please log onto http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/livewithit/ (http://petitions.pm.gov.uk/livewithit/) and sign the epetition. The aim is to enshire such Grandfather Rights into UK law or Policy Guidelines. If we have enough support, we might just get somewhere - if not from the Government - we will have an election pending at some stage.

Ive also signed it:ok: Im sick off people whinging all the time, I wonder if these types consider how much theyre mowing the grass pi**es the neighbour off, which creates more noise pollution than GA....OOOPS, POT MEET KETTLE...sorry about that....

One of my friends is into motorcycle racing and they had continued complaints from a local resident about the noise as it spoiled his stay at his holiday home in the area. On one occasion the racing was cancelled at the last minute due to bad weather but the complaint went in on time regardless.
On investigation it was found that the complainant was not in residence at the time and only assumed the meeting was going ahead, he has now been issued a stern letter from the council informing him that no future complaints will be considered and legal action can be taken against him if he continues:D:D:D

Just like when the then Tory government banned the Heathrow- Gatwick Airlink Helicopter ( due to some marginally held seats en -route ) .
Even six months after the service disappeared there were still complaints being phoned in moaning about the noise and disturbance !
