This question applies to dual FMC installations. On B767/B757 15 years ago, dual FMC installations had capacity to pre-plan a RTE 2. Does anyone know if this is an option on the B738 NG 10.7 dual FMC set-up? It may be a customer option, but does anybody have it?

Where I work we have both single and dual FMC equipped 800 NG.
A RTE 2 is not feature on either.

Route 2 is probably coming in FMC U10.8, due for release in October. It will be available in single or dual FMC aircraft.

Thanks for the link CaptainSandL, some interesting changes on the way. Can someone please explain this in more detail to those of us not rated on the 767:
Change altitude intervention to work like 767

It is more likely that the RTE 2 functionality will be included in U11. Pre-certification releases of U10.8 do not have RTE 2. You might try to drill down through the My Boeing Fleet website to access the PRRs associated with ATA 34.

Why is it that on update 10.7 you cannot enter any speeds in the climb page or cruise or descent page, until you enter the zero fuel weight in the perf init page.

On other updates this was possible.
