I have heard that it is possible to see where your ppl application is in the queue at the CAA. Does anyone know?

if you look at Personnel Licensing | Safety Regulation (http://www.caa.co.uk/default.aspx?catid=137) it tells you the date of the oldest application being processed - not what you want but it gives an idea...
