This has been discussed in brief on the wannabes section by some chaps after a cadetship but I wonder if anyone could explain it properly.. what happened to the Atlantique Group at Coventry and where has the fleet gone?! I know the Electras are now at the cargo arm (sold off as Atlantic Airlines) and the Survey aircraft are with RVL group - but what happened to the ATRs for passenger charter and the other elements of the group?

I ask because as part of my duties in a new assistant position with the transport office at the Football League, I have to get hold of quotes for charters! (it pays my way through a modular course.. slowly).

A lot of the group has been disbanded, and the ATRs have gone elsewhere.

Does your department use or require brokers to find you suitable aircraft?
If so, drop me a PM as I can point you in the right direction.

Atlantic Express is back in action & they have ATR`s ready for charter now ! (It`s now run in conjuction with Skyblue Aviation). When I was there they used to specialise in sports charters & I`m sure they still do.

Sue Hawkins or Debi Unwin are still the people you need to speak to in the commercial department.

PM me if you need more info.
